  4. 0. Backup the disc

  6. 1. Load Pipe dream

  8. 2. Open viewer window on your floppy 
  9.  
  10. 3. Open tutor group directory (1Edwards is an example)

  12. 4. Double-click on attainment target file eg NCAT1
  13.  
  14. 5. Point at slot A7 with pointer and click select to put red caret here.

  16. 6. Drag an edit file with names separated by 2 carriage returns into the
  17. Pipedream window. (the file 1EDWASC can be used as a test)

  19. 7. Click on top right (toggle size) of window.

  21. Initially all assessments are set to 0. When positive assessment has been
  22. made point to slot with mouse, click right hand button, delete the 0, and
  23. insert a 1.

  25. 8. You can load the file eg NCSAT1 which is the criteria to go with NCAT1 so
  26. that each file is on the screen at the same time in its own window.

  28. 9. Create directories for each group taught and set up a logging file as
  29. described above for each attainment target.
